NHRD –BNMIT Conducted Panel discussion “Psychometric Assessments and the Business Connect” on 01-03-2014
The panel discussion was experienced by various Institution MBA HR students and BNMIT MBA students as well as faculty members. BNMIT Principal inaugurated the session and enjoyed the knowledge enhancement session.
The 3 panelists were:
1. Mr. Harish Vittal N - Headed the training and organizational development function for ING Vysya bank.
2. Prahlad Rao – Director at Thomas Assessments
3. Joseph Paulson -Consultant/Facilitator/ Coach, HR Anexi Pvt Ltd
Mr. Harish was the moderator for the session and was able to enlighten the audience with his educative humorous comments.  Mr. Joseph gave a small presentation about psychometric assessments and its usage in Business. Mr. Prahalad Rao was able to answer any sort of questions posed by students to the panelists during the interactive session.

HR Students of BNMIT gave vote of thanks to the panelists, guests and students who have assembled for the session.

Opening Remarks about the programme was done by Dr. L. Vijayashree followed by              Smt. Prabhavathi Rao, Program Coordinator, WTO & IPR Relay Cell, Visvesvaraya Trade Promotion Centre Dept of Industries & Commerce, Govt of Karnataka. Session 1 was about Flavor to Innovation Management & Unleashing Creativity handled by          V Raghuram, Senior Advisor – IP & Technology Commercialization. Session 2 was about Overview of Intellectual Property Rights Spectrum: Significance for Academia in Business and Research handled by Dr.S Rama Murthy Head – IPR, Centre for Emerging Technologies, Jain University, Bangalore. IPL Summer Competition 2016

BNMIT Entrepreneurship Cell conducts Innovative Project Lab Competition twice in a year for BNMIT students in order to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and to create innovative technical thinking among the students. The best projects from different engineering streams were selected for the final IPL summer competition held on April 22, 2016 at BNMIT. The Chief Guest and Judges for the Exhibition were Mr. D P K. Muthukumaraswamy, Innovation Leadership Consultant, Innomantra Consulting Pvt Ltd, Bangalore &                    Dr.S. Ramamurthy, Professor-IPR, Jain University, Bangalore. 22 Best Project Teams from various Engineering Streams of BNMIT were selected by their respective Departments to compete in the event. The Evaluation Criteria was based on Possibility of conversion of project in to product, high innovative ideas, Feasibility and Use to the society.
