ENTREPRENEURSHIP WEEK -22nd Sep 2015

On 22nd September 2015, BNMIT witnessed another icon of youth Ms. Nandini Vaidyanathan, the founder and mentor at CARMa. "I breathe entrepreneurship" she says, and believes that entrepreneurship is a great domain through which our country can prosper. Addressing a gathering of around 800 students at BNMIT, she sowed the idea of becoming an entrepreneur and as well gave the way wherein one can pursue it through the help of a mentor who is well versed in the area. "You don't have to start a company, to be an entrepreneur", is what she says, as the youth thinks that starting a startup or having the goal of earning lots of money is entrepreneurship. "Bringing a change or touching one's life with an idea is the motive behind entrepreneurship", she said with the example of Steve Jobs who brought an immense change in the way the world works through the use of technology in gadgets is the way towards entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship Week at BNMIT

BNMIT, one of the top 5 engineering colleges in Karnataka, encourages entrepreneurship among students. E-Cell BNMIT conducts lot of entrepreneurial events to motivate the student community towards entrepreneurship. This semester E-Cell conducted  E-Week wherein eminent personalities like   Ms. Rashmi Bansal ( India’s No.1 Entrepreneurship Author ,Stay Hungry Stay Foolish), Ms. Nandini Vaidhyanathan (Founder and Mentor-CARma & Former CEO -UTV),Mr. Muki Regunathan (Founder Pepper Square) were been invited to have E-Talks with students. On 21 st September, 2015, Mr. Muki Regunathan (Founder Pepper Square), a man who has tasted success after failing 7 times, who considers in self as a template of failures came to BNMIT to enthrall the audience of about 1000 students and faculty members. He also explained that “Success is different to different Person”, as everyone has their own perception regarding success. “Do larger than life”, is the inspiring statement by the CEO at Pepper
