Lab Winter CompInnovative Project edition -2015 Venue : Bnmit,Bengaluru

BNMIT Entrepreneurship Cell conducts Innovative Project Lab Competition twice in a year for BNMIT students in order to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship. The Heads of all the Engineering departments were asked to select the best projects from their respective Streams for exhibition in the IPL winter Competition which was conducted recently at BNMIT.

The Project Exhibition was graced by the presence of two eminent personalities. The Chief Guest for the competition was Mr. Venkata Raghavan, Joint Partner, Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Company & Mr. Sumeet Kurana, Director -Tax, Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Company.

19 Best Project Teams from various Engineering Streams of BNMIT were selected by their respective Departments to compete in the event.

The selected participants exhibited their project in the Exhibition. The Evaluation Criteria was based on Feasibility of the project, the Inventiveness of the Idea & Usefulness to the society. As the judges where from Intellectual Property rights background, they also evaluated the projects based on novelty for patenting purpose.

The Project Champion award of Rs.10000/- was awarded to Mr. V. Prajwal Rao,                      Mr. Varun Kumar D, Mr. Skanda Bhagavath, Mr. Vijeth V of 5th Semester Mechanical Branch for their project “SHREDDRTRON 6000”.

Best project Award at 3rd Semester level of Rs. 5000/- was received by Mr. Harshith, Mr. Indra kumar, Mr. Karthik Y, Mr. Kashyap N Pandith, Mechanical department for their project on “COMPACT PARKING SYSTEM”. 

Best project Award at 5th Semester level of Rs. 5000/- was received by Mr. Basha K, Mr. Saleeth A Sab, Mr. Satish Kumar D M, Electronics and Communication branch for their project “HANDYMOTE”.

Best Project award –Section wise was awarded with Rs. 2000/- for the rest of the competing students.
