INNOVATIVE PROJECT LAB COMPETITION -2015

BNMIT Entrepreneurship Cell conducts Innovative Project Lab Competition twice in a year for BNMIT students in order to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship. The Heads of  all  the Engineering departments  were asked to select the best projects from their respective Streams forexhibition in the IPL Summer  Competition which was conducted on 19thof May,2015.
The Project Exhibition was graced by the presence of two eminent personalities. The Chief Guest for the Mela was Mr. C. S. Srikanth, Director-Technology AutoTEC Systems Pvt Ltd. Mr.VinayPranesh, Principal Consultant-Honeywell was the Guest of Honour.
32 Best Project Teams from various Engineering Streams of BNMIT were selected by their respective Departments to compete in the event. The selected participants exhibited their project in the Exhibition and their work was evaluated by two renowned personalities having Electronics and Software background.  The Evaluation Criteria was based on Feasibility of the project, the Innovativeness of theIdea, Use to the society.
The ProjectChampion award of Rs10000 was awarded to Akshay H Pai, Nitin S Nadig,Mridula Venkatesh, Nirupama Suresh from Information Science  Department for their project on “Design and Implementation of Mini Super Computer using Raspberry-Pi processors”.
Project Champions Akshay H Pai, ,Mridula Venkatesh, Nirupama Suresh, Nitin S Nadig, 8th semester ISE with External Judge Mr. C. S. Srikanth, Director-Technology AutoTEC Systems Pvt Ltd.
Prof T J Rama Murthy, Director BNMIT gave the Best Project Awards of Rs. 5000/- to the students of 2nd, 4th ,6Th,8th Semester of all streams of engineering respectively. Best Project award –Section wise, Rs. 2000/- was awarded to  27  batch of students.
Dr. M S Suresh, Principal BNMIT concluded that every year the institution will have such events in a grand manner to support and encourage the engineering students. He also motivated the students towards obtaining patents for their innovative product. Dr. L. Vijayashree, Chief Coordinator E-Cell assured that cell will incubate the best projects and help in conversion of these projects into profitable and productive ventures.

IPL Summer Competition 2016

BNMIT Entrepreneurship Cell conducts Innovative Project Lab Competition twice in a year for BNMIT students in order to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and to create innovative technical thinking among the students. The best projects from different engineering streams were selected for the final IPL summer competition held on April 22, 2016 at BNMIT. The Chief Guest and Judges for the Exhibition were Mr. D P K. Muthukumaraswamy, Innovation Leadership Consultant, Innomantra Consulting Pvt Ltd, Bangalore &                    Dr.S. Ramamurthy, Professor-IPR, Jain University, Bangalore. 22 Best Project Teams from various Engineering Streams of BNMIT were selected by their respective Departments to compete in the event. The Evaluation Criteria was based on Possibility of conversion of project in to product, high innovative ideas, Feasibility and Use to the society. The Project Champion award of Rupees.10000/- was awarded to Achyuth G R, Ashrith Pradeep from Computer Science
