ENTREPRENEURSHIP WEEK -22nd Sep 2015
On 22nd September 2015, BNMIT witnessed another icon of youth Ms. Nandini Vaidyanathan, the founder and mentor at CARMa.
"I breathe
entrepreneurship" she says, and believes that entrepreneurship is a great
domain through which our country can prosper. Addressing a gathering of around
800 students at BNMIT, she sowed the idea of becoming an entrepreneur and as
well gave the way wherein one can pursue it through the help of a mentor who is
well versed in the area. "You don't have to start a company, to be an
entrepreneur", is what she says, as the youth thinks that starting a
startup or having the goal of earning lots of money is entrepreneurship.
"Bringing a change or touching one's life with an idea is the motive
behind entrepreneurship", she said with the example of Steve Jobs who
brought an immense change in the way the world works through the use of
technology in gadgets is the way towards entrepreneurship. She also said being
an entrepreneur, we should be able to think beyond the arena or the out of box
thinking, and "give the customer what he does not know what he wants"
is one of the unique goals an entrepreneur must target and find out an
opportunity to fulfill.

Abhishek , MBA student organizers said that , her words, "Creation of
opportunity" in any situation to understand and provide the needs of a
customer is what that makes one an entrepreneurial thinker was a great thought
provoking statement she gave to the youngsters.
Lastly, she adieus saying
that, "A successful entrepreneur is immortal" as he/she brings in a
great change and touches the life of people through providing the impossible or
the unknown and is remembered forever.
