IPR -FDP on 20th Aug 2015 in association with Karnataka Trade promotion Centre, Govt of Karnataka.

The WTO & IPR Relay Cell, VTPC Karnataka organised a One Day Training the Trainer Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights at BNMIT, Bangalore on 20th August 2015.
Dr.M N Bheemesh, Senior Advisor, ALMT Legal took Faculty Members through the entire spectrum of IPR and its significance for Academia in Business & Research. Brinda Varma, Patent Attorney, Bangalore provided insights on Prior Art Search and IP Management in Academia.

INNOVATIVE PROJECT LAB COMPETITION -2015 BNMIT Entrepreneurship Cell conducts Innovative Project Lab Competition twice in a year for BNMIT students in order to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship. Opening Remarks about the programme was done by Dr. L. Vijayashree followed by              Smt. Prabhavathi Rao, Program Coordinator, WTO & IPR Relay Cell, Visvesvaraya Trade Promotion Centre Dept of Industries & Commerce, Govt of Karnataka. Session 1 was about Flavor to Innovation Management & Unleashing Creativity handled by          V Raghuram, Senior Advisor – IP & Technology Commercialization. IPL Summer Competition 2016

BNMIT Entrepreneurship Cell conducts Innovative Project Lab Competition twice in a year for BNMIT students in order to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and to create innovative technical thinking among the students. The best projects from different engineering streams were selected for the final IPL summer competition held on April 22, 2016 at BNMIT. The Chief Guest and Judges for the Exhibition were Mr. D P K. Muthukumaraswamy, Innovation Leadership Consultant, Innomantra Consulting Pvt Ltd, Bangalore &                    Dr.S. Ramamurthy, Professor-IPR, Jain University, Bangalore. 22 Best Project Teams from various Engineering Streams of BNMIT were selected by their respective Departments to compete in the event. The Evaluation Criteria was based on Possibility of conversion of project in to product, high innovative ideas, Feasibility and Use to the society.
