INNOVATIVE PROJECT LAB COMPETITION -2015 BNMIT Entrepreneurship Cell conducts Innovative Project Lab Competition twice in a year for BNMIT students in order to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship. The Heads of all the Engineering departments were asked to select the best projects from their respective Streams forexhibition in the IPL Summer Competition which was conducted on 19 th of May,2015. The Project Exhibition was graced by the presence of two eminent personalities. The Chief Guest for the Mela was Mr. C. S. Srikanth, Director-Technology AutoTEC Systems Pvt Ltd. Mr.VinayPranesh, Principal Consultant-Honeywell was the Guest of Honour. 32 Best Project Teams from various Engineering Streams of BNMIT were selected by their respective Departments to compete in the event. Opening Remarks about the programme was done by Dr. L. Vijayashree followed by Smt. Prabhavathi Rao, Program Coordinator, WTO & IPR Relay Cell, Visvesvaraya Trade Promotion Centre Dept of Industries & Commerce, Govt of Karnataka. BNMIT Entrepreneurship Cell conducts Innovative Project Lab Competition twice in a year for BNMIT students in order to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and to create innovative technical thinking among the students. The best projects from different engineering streams were selected for the final IPL summer competition held on April 22, 2016 at BNMIT. The Chief Guest and Judges for the Exhibition were Mr. D P K. Muthukumaraswamy, Innovation Leadership Consultant, Innomantra Consulting Pvt Ltd, Bangalore & Dr.S. Ramamurthy, Professor-IPR, Jain University, Bangalore. 22 Best Project Teams from various Engineering Streams of BNMIT were selected by their respective Departments to compete in the event. The Evaluation Criteria was based on Possibility of conversion of project in to product, high innovative ideas, Feasibility and Use to the society.
