IPL Summer Competition 2016

BNMIT Entrepreneurship Cell conducts Innovative Project Lab Competition twice in a year for BNMIT students in order to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and to create innovative technical thinking among the students. The best projects from different engineering streams were selected for the final IPL summer competition held on April 22, 2016 at BNMIT. The Chief Guest and Judges for the Exhibition were Mr. D P K. Muthukumaraswamy, Innovation Leadership Consultant, Innomantra Consulting Pvt Ltd, Bangalore & Dr.S. Ramamurthy, Professor-IPR, Jain University, Bangalore. 22 Best Project Teams from various Engineering Streams of BNMIT were selected by their respective Departments to compete in the event. BNMIT, one of the top 5 engineering colleges in Karnataka, encourages entrepreneurship among students. E-Cell BNMIT conducts lot of entrepreneurial events to motivate the student community towards entrepreneurship. Rashmi Bansal who has touched the lives of many readers of all age groups particularly in India has become an inspiration and role model to many. She is known as “India’s No. 1 Entrepreneurial Author”. She is a writer and youth expert. Her book "Stay Hungry Stay Foolish” has got its title inspired by Steve Jobs. She has given numerous thoughts on the entrepreneurial thinking and entrepreneurship. “Its all about achieving, passion to do something more and learning more and beyond the college syllabus” says the economics graduate from Sophia College, Mumbai.
